So...what IF MC Skat Kat and the Stray Mob actually became popular? What would that do for the Rap/Hip-Hop music industry today?

I don't think we'll ever know, but I have a feeling that if, indeed, he became popular, he would probably have some BLING. I think BLING was something that eventually would have happened, regardless of where the current of the Rap/Hip-Hop flowed.

There were merely a handful of things that had gotten me interested into art, as a whole, at a young age. No, I hadn't been reading comics all my life. No, I wasn't "born with a pencil in my hand." I was--and still am, I guess--a musician.

And, I cannot emphasize enough how time I spent in front of the TV watching MTV music videos after school, regardless of whether or not my homework was done, waiting for the music video for "Opposites Attract" or "Skat Strut" to come on.

I cannot emphasize enough how often I listened to the "Skat Strut" single--ON CASSETTE--when I was a kid.

So, I did it. And I won't revisit this again, because it's done, and it's over with, and I can move on...rather, finish all those other things I started.
